BEST IN SHOW 2010
This cake was the winner of BEST IN SHOW at the Idaho Sugar Art Show held in Blackfoot Idaho this year.
It won GRAND CHAMPION FONDANT WEDDING Cakes in the Professional Division, as well.
The theme was Fairy Tale Weddings, and this cake was what I would have wanted to see if I was a princess. It had pink Dahlia flowers that were hand made from sugar paste, delicate silver piping, fondant swags and lace accenting a cake ball in the center. It was topped with a Sugar Paste vase filled with more Dahlias.
I also won BEST TASTING CAKE this year, which confirmed what all my clients already knew. Your cake should taste better than it looks, and our cakes taste AMAZING!
I also won GRAND CHAMPION OCCASION CAKES for my child’s dinosaur themed birthday cake.
