About Paula Ames and Cake Creations
- Paula Ames has been decorating cakes for a hobby for over 11 years for friends and family. Three years ago, she started Cake Creations and it has been non stop from there.
She has spent many hours perfecting her recipes and uses only the freshest ingredients. She believes that taste should not be sacrificed for beauty. Self taught through years of study and practice, Paula is now an award winning decorator. She has been in the top ten in a National Family Fun Cake decorating contest with the Crock-O-Chili cake.
In her first year of local competition, she won "People’s Choice" from the Eastern Idaho State Fair. Each year, Paula has won more and more awards, this year ending with all first place ribbons in sugar art for her work on "The Lily" her life like "Tribute to American Soldiers" and her "Wedding Dress" cake entry, as well as "People’s Choice". Paula is married to her wonderful husband and together they have four sons.
